    Hello,

On our site the event Maps overview does not show any events, and i dont know why?
    https://www.nakp.nl/evenementen/map

The list view shows the event:
    https://www.nakp.nl/evenementen/

And on the event-page the Map is visible:
    https://www.nakp.nl/evenement/test-locatie-1/

    Kind regards,
    Mathisj Jonkers

    Hi Mathisj,

Welcome to our support forums ๐Ÿ™‚

Strange thing happening there! I’m seeing you already tested this with default TweentyFifteen theme and other plugins deactivated, can you confirm this? If we discard a conflict with other plugins/theme, I’ll try to reproduce this locally and see why the map is not showing up at all.

Please let me know about this,
    Thanks,
    Nico

    Hi Nico,

    Thanks!

It’s working with the default Twenty Fifteen theme, sorry for the false information.
So maybe there is a conflicting JS/CSS file? In de debugconsole (F12) there is a 404 error for https://www.nakp.nl/evenementen/map but i don’t know why?

    Kind regards,
    Mathijs Jonkers

    Hey Mathijs,

    Thanks for testing that out!

We have a clue to think this is a conflict, but now we to know where it’s coming from! Can you test if Map view is working with default theme and all other plugins active? In case it doesn’t please activate the plugins one by one and check which one is breaking the map. This way we can be sure it’s something in the theme breaking it!

I saw the 404 as well, the request of the main doc is returning it, check the page title, we have a ‘Page not found’. Can you go to ‘WP-Admin > Event > Settings > Display’ and disable Map view then ‘Save changes’ and re-enable it? This doesn’t seem the case but this trick solved another customer’s problem a while back.

    Best,
    Nico

    Hello Nico,

It’s working whith the default themes and all plugins active, sow the combination with the “Sportimo” theme causes this issue.

I noticed that the “Zopim chat” plugin also not works in the map overview:
    https://www.nakp.nl/evenementen/map
In the list view this plugin is working (check right bottom corner):
    https://www.nakp.nl/evenementen/lijst

Sow a combination of Javascripts/css-files is breaking things, i think…
I’ve also tested the map view with the Zopim plugin disabled, but that makes no difference.

How do you receive the locations list for the maps overview, maybe this call is not working?

p.s. Disabling and re-enabling the Map makes also no difference ๐Ÿ™

    Kind regards,
    Mathijs

    Hey Mathijs,

Thanks for testing that out! We know have a strong clue about where the conflict is coming from ๐Ÿ™‚

When I checked on that, the chat was also working in the map view. Also the main request is returning the 404, so I think is more a ‘Query’ issue rather than a JS conflict, and surely not a CSS one.

Please try pasting this snippet into your themeโ€™s functions.php file. This will output some diagnostic information about the event pages WP Queries. After adding this snippet to your theme please let me know so I can check the output of the debug info by appending โ€œ?tribe_query_debug=trueโ€ to the end of the map view URL.

Also can you create a gist or pastebin including the code of your theme’s functions.php file? Maybe I can see something there!

Hope we can get this sorted soon,
    Have a great weekend,
    Nico
