ParticipantFor some reason, on my site (http://theregistrybayarea.com), when I select a category, the correct number of events are shown in the correct category, and the text link says, “VIEW ALL EVENTS IN CATEGORY.” However the text links to the All Events page regardless of what category is specified.

MemberI’m sorry for the inconvenience @michaeldef, that looks like a bug and we’ll get it logged and addressed as quickly as we can. In the meantime, can you get by without using that feature?

ParticipantMy only option is to avoid using categories, and create a separate button linked to filtered results under the widget. Can you please inform me when the bug is fixed?

ParticipantAnother thought taken from someone else: “It would be good to have a selection in the widget to choose if we want the link to go to just the category or to all events and then for the link text and link to change accordingly.” Also, nice if we could determine the text of the link. Thx.

Yes, certainly – we always strive to update threads like this one as and when we have news about bug fixes 🙂

These are good ideas and if you’d like to post them on our UserVoice page (that way others can also show their support) we’ll certainly consider it.
What I’ll do right now is close this thread – but as above we’ll certainly reopen to post updates if possible. Thanks again for your support and patience.

MemberUnfortunately we weren’t able to squeeze this one into our next upcoming release (3.5) but I wanted to drop a note in here to let you know it’s still on our radar and we will try hard to fit it in to the next release instead. Thanks for your support and patience in the meantime!

MemberHi there,
I just wanted to let you know that we have been working diligently on a fix for this issue. Our next release (3.6) will be available soon and should correct this problem. Please keep an eye on your Plugins and Updates pages for a version update. If you are still having problems after updating, please start a new thread with the details and we can assist you.
Best,
