Participant[tribe_events_list] When using this code it displays a small dynamic calendar date box just to the left of the title that includes the Day of the week & calendar day. For instance in the box it says…SAT 12. This is confusing bc it isn’t evident unless the user sees the small metadata. They may see SAT 12 and think it’s this Saturday if they are not paying attention, but rather its a SAT 12th in November instead. Is there a way to display the 3 letter Month abbreviation rather than the 3 letter day of the week abbreviation? So it would say NOV 12 instead?

ParticipantThis screen shot shows you that I am listing some events in certain categories, but the calendar icon next to each event shows day and date? This can easily be misleading to a user and they think it’s this Saturday. I need this to say for example, OCT 23, NOV 12, NOV 19.

MemberGood evening David and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic. The short answer is yes. You can change the list widget view (and shortcode) to your liking.
In order to do that, you will need to perform a template customization.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.
As you can see, you can basically tweak what shows up in the list widget view by making a copy of its template in your child theme’s /tribe-events/ folder.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberGood evening David,
Thank you for writing back.
As per the themer’s guide, you need to make a copy of /events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/modules/single-event.php.
Once that is done, simply drag in into the /tribe-events/folder of your WordPress theme and start editing away.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
