Events in Month view show up as bullet points

Events in the month view of the calendar show up as bullet points without text and the height of the calendar grid is shrunk. When I deactivate the W3 Total Cache plugin, the event calendar returns to normal. Not sure where the conflict lies between W3 Total Cache and the Event Calendar but I’d like to be able to use both plugins.
