Events in Calendar Pro are in reverse date order

My events are being displayed on the home page in reverse date order from the date I entered them. The oldest posts are being shown first and the most recent posts are being displayed last.

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out! I took a look at your home page, but the events in the sidebar are showing up correctly on my end – by default, upcoming events will display with the next event first and the date farthest into the future last.

They are displayed by the start date, not the date that they were created. If you want to change the order, you could do this with a customization. Our themer’s guide is the place to start if you’d like to give it a shot! If you have any questions or if I’ve misunderstood what you’re looking for, please let me know.

Thank you. The event calendar in the sidebar is working great. My issue was with the events posting to the main page. I clicked the box in the General Settings called “Include events in main blog loop”. Those events are posting based on the event date with the one farthest out in the future posting at the top. An event for Feb 8th is the last event in my calender and it is at the top of the main page when that box is checked. I have the box unchecked for now. Can I also change the posting date on the main blog loop with customization?

Ah thanks for clarifying! The events in the main loop are ordered by the event date by default, but we do have a snippet that you can add to the functions.php file of your child theme to order them by the post date instead.
