    We are using the basic Twenty Eleven WordPress Template which allows for custom header images and we are using different images on different pages of our site. It seems that because this image is in place, which pushes our menu navigation down, the pop-up tiny calendar that is part of the “Events From” filter/search functionality on our events page is partly hidden… you can only see the last two weeks of the month.

    I don’t want to turn off the custom header images across the entire site because we do want them on our other pages, but is there a way to remove the image from just our events pages? (if indeed this is what’s causing the problem)

    Or is there something else that’s preventing the full view of the pop-up calendar?

    eastbayaa,
    Sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. I tried to visit your site using the IP address you sent, but wasn’t able to get there. Can you send me a publicly accessible link to your site so I can investigate further? Thanks! πŸ™‚

    Hi Casey, The Calendar Events are set up under the menu link for Meeting Directory:

    eastbayaa,
    Can you enable the Month view so that I can see the issue you’re referring to? Thanks!

    Casey, I’m not using the month view. I think you’re misunderstanding my question. I am talking about the tiny pop-up calendar you use to select a date, when using the “Events From” filter functionality in the top bar (to select only certain events). Does that make sense?

    Ok, yes, I finally understand now. πŸ˜€ Sorry about that! You should be able to add the following code to your theme’s stylesheet to resolve the issue:

    .datepicker {
    z-index:1000000 !important;
    }

    Give that a shot and let me know if it fixes the issue. Thanks! πŸ™‚

    Hi Casey, I’m a bit of a newbie when it comes to modifying code. Can you tell me exactly what file I need to modify and where I will find it? Thanks!

    PS – I would still like to know how to remove the header image from my calendar view pages without affecting any of the other pages on my site. Can you please advise on this as well? Thanks!

    eastbayaa,
    You should add the code from above into the bottom of your theme’s style.css file. Unfortunately, due to our limited support staff, we can’t support theme customizations, so I’m unable to help with your second question. I would definitely encourage you to post your question in the Twenty Eleven support forum though.

    I hope that answers your question. Thanks! πŸ™‚

    Great! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.

    By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/the-events-calendar?filter=5

    Thanks in advance. πŸ™‚

    Cheers,
    Casey
