Events from Facebook for Business

Hi there,

We have been importing events from the following Facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/DubzzDigitalMarketing/

But now they are migrating over to the following url:

https://business.facebook.com/DubzzDigitalMarketing/

Do we continue to use the same suffix as before (DubzzDigitalMarketing)?

They have recently launched two new events, with the same subdomain as well.

Will the Events Importer continue to handle this or do we need to do something differently?

Hi, Matt.

I tried https://business.facebook.com/events/1659537004340651/ in Event Aggregator’s Preview and it came through just fine… so I’d say you’re good to go.

However, if you’re using the legacy Facebook Importer plugin instead of Event Aggregator, I cannot guarantee things will work there, as that plugin is no longer maintained.

Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions on this topic.
