Events for Featured Organizer widget?

I’m basically trying to do what this person asked about and were told to raise an issue here….

Organizer Widget or Calendar

Not sure if they ever did but I’m trying to do the same thing,

Basically I’m after an “Events Featured Venue” widget except for Organizer not venue…

PS I know I can do this with Event categories but was trying to do this using the organizer field because this ties in better with other stuff.

Failing that is there a way to customize a thing to automatically add category to every event for a given organizer?

We don’t have truly a widget that can filter like that yet. However, if you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

You can suggest it at http://tribe.uservoice.com.

We do have a way to see all events by organizers. https://wpshindig.com/organizer/code-for-brazil/ is an example on our demo site. You can view Events > Organizer to get the specific links, or visit any single event and click on the name of the organizer.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but you can use https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/list-venues-and-organizers-shortcodes/ to list all organizers in a widget/shortcode as well.
