Events don't honor actual times

We have a recurring event that is set to a time of 2:00pm – 5:00pm. However, it shows up in all calendars as happening 8:00am – 5:00pm. We tried editing the series to force it to refresh, by even changing the actual event times in numerous ways but even after it refreshes all the occurrences, it always comes out as happening from 8-5. How can we correct this?

I”m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.

Is this only happening on this one series, or has this happened on other events as well?

Are you doing any caching on your site, such as on your server or via a plugin? If so, can you try clearing that out and see if that gets the correct time showing?

If not, then can you try deleting the series and creating a new one?
