Events Disappeared on upgrade to 4.0.5/4.0.4 – here's how I fixed

Just posting this in case anyone else runs into this as it freaked me out.

Briefly: I upgraded to TEC 4.0.5/TEC Pro 4.0.4 which both came out today and suddenly when I went to my /events view – no events showed up. Weirdly, I could click the “Find Events” button (without entering any criteria) and suddenly there they were. Also, they displayed just fine in the Map and Month views, but not in the List or Photo views.

How I solved: I noticed that disabling OnTheGo’s WP Views would fixed it. So I poked around and in the Admin Dashboard under Views->WordPress Archives I noticed there was an item called Archive for Events. I did not create this so I’m guessing it somehow came from TEC?? So I tried moving it to the Trash and suddenly events are showing up again.

I wish I could say I understood why that worked – so please let me know if you think this was a bad move (or if you can explain why it fixed the problem!). Otherwise, thought I’d post in case others run into same thing…
