Events deleting early and randomly.

I’m having a huge problem with events deleting early using Housekeeping which started about 2-3 weeks ago. On the day of some events they are deleting early before the event even starts.

I thought that maybe the servers timezone was off as well as the WordPress timezone, I checked and set both of those hoping to fix the issue. The problem is its not deleting say 3 hours early or 1 hour early. Its just happening randomly at random times.

There was an event that was on July 3rd that was set for 8pm, it deleted itself at 5pm. Then on July 4th there were two events that deleted when they were supposed to. And now today one that is set for July 8th deleted itself sometime between 11am and 12pm.

Since it started happening I have made sure the plug-in and WP are up to date.

I’m totally stumped as to what could be causing it since I cant find anything common with them, any thoughts would be appreciated.

Could I get some more information? In our default system, events don’t self delete; there is simply no mechanism for auto deletion in the code.

Could you expand on what ‘Housekeeping’ is? Is that a theme or plugin? I’m not able to pinpoint it on a Google search. If its purpose is to delete/clean up entries, the configuration may be set incorrectly.

After talking with the team I think you are probably referring to The Events Calendar Housekeeper plugin. As it is posted on that readme, we don’t offer support for that here, you’ll have to ask for support on the plugin page on the .org repo.

The best way to troubleshoot this is to use our Testing for Conflicts tutorial.
