Events Countdown – Not showing

Hi, my issue is that on my homepage I have a widget to display the ‘Events Countdown’. Until very recently this was working as expected, bet now it is not display. However, the data is actually in the page, it is just invisible – you can click on the area where the countdown should display and you will be taken to the correct event.

I have tried, deactivating all plugins, switch themes and checking that nothing in the theme was over writing the styles. But nothing works.
