On my site, I have two categories of events. Each category acts as its own calendar of events. I’m having trouble getting the Title at the top of the category/archive page to display what it should. I would like it to display the name of the category (Seed Freedom Events or Fortnight of Action Events) but instead it’s displaying the name of the latest submitted event as the name of the page/calendar. It’s displaying this at the top of the page where the post/page name is typically displayed.

I can provide my site URL, but I want to make sure it’s not indexed by search engines here, I’d hate for this question to come up in search results if anyone’s searching for our site. But, I believe you can see what my site URL is, and could go to the “Attend” nav menu to see the issue I’m speaking about.

How can I get the category/archive page for my events to display a static title at the top that is simply the name of the category?

    Hi Ruchi,

Take a look at this thread: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/calendar-page-title-shows-title-of-an-event-continued/

Basically you’ll want to use similar code that was posted to Githug wherever the title is set in your theme.

    I hope that helps!
