Events Carpool/ Rideshare

Hello,

Im searching for a solution that the Users can post carpoolings/rideshares under every event.
Is there any solution to make this possible? Like other plugins etc.

Users have the possibility to post comments under every event. Would that work for you?

I’m afraid if you want anything more complicated, then you will need to do some custom development for that.

Hey, thanks for your fast answer.

Comments could be an option, but looks not so nice. But anywhere the comment option doesn’t work on my site. They are activated.

So I found the Plugin: carpool.events for WordPress which looks very nice. You can integrate the plugin via an easy code:

“Alternatively you can create new events by typing a new code directly in the editor, at any place you like.
Type [carpool:20150131:Title of the new event] to create a new event.
20150131 is the date code (YYYYMMDD) for january 31 in the year 2015”

But if i make a test site and post a code with [carpool:20150131:Title of the new event] and I look at the site there only stands [carpool:20150131:Title of the new event]. There does not comes the Plugin. Bei other plugins this shortcodes works.

Hi Philipp,

You could re-design how your comments look like with a bit of CSS tweaking. If you want additional functionality, then you will need to do some customization.

The carpool events plugin is not made by us and I don’t know how it works, so I cannot really support you in that, I’m sorry.
