GuestHi Guys,
Below is the list of my questions, it would be great if you would answer by numbering questions. it would be things a lot easier. =)
1) Do the Event Calendar pros works with Woo-ticket selling plugin together?
2) Do the Event Calendar pros works with Eventbrite-ticket selling plugin together?
3) Event Calendar pros’ filter bar, does it come as a feature like a shopping cart, filter by a checkbox of days ( mondayβ¦ to sunday) and class code ( englishbasic1, englishbasic2)? If not, is it possible to tweak it?
3b) if yes on question 1 & 2, can the event dates ( of woo-ticket and eventbrite)
Like normally amazon shopping sites, but for now a check box of date, or location etc?4) can the event calendar pro got its update events from Moodle (LMS) or google calendar etc?
5) for the event calendar pro, assume i have a course “English basic ” that spread over a period of 10 weeks, once a week once. will the plugin recurring events shows the difference English basic (1st session out of 10th session), then next day event, English basic (2nd session out of 10th session).
6) Does Event Calendar pro, option to allow the default calendar show the ONLY 1st day of the recurring events (in this case, course workshop)
my client’s users may not need to see the recurring 2nd onwards events. only the 1st up coming, so the parents can see if they wish to sign up for their kids.7) I have a client who wish to have a course ticket system for parents to purchase the course for their kids ( less than 10 years old). and allow parents login afterward to see their invoices and kids’ students report.
I wish to use woo-sensei(LMS) plugin. I’m not sure if your plugins are able to help. please let me know if it’s possible by any tweak etc.
8) does the woo ticket plugin, allow one event with a multi days and times difference? E.g one event split into 3 days, monday, next week Wednesday and next following friday?
Please let me know if i need to provide more information.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Peter,
I know you asked for a point-by-point reply, but there are some general things that will answer most of your questions.
All the ticketing add-ons require that you have The Events Calendar installed, so yes they work together. However, running multiple ticketing add-ons at the same time can cause problems. I suggest that you choose one. Unless you’re already hooked up with Eventbrite, WooCommerce sounds like it might be more flexible to meet your needs.
Our Filter Bar add-on has not been released, but you will be able to filter on categories, tags, venues, cost, day, and time of day (e.g., morning, evening). And there’s the search bar to look for specific class.
The calendar has an add-on to import events from Facebook, but that is it. There is a new CSV importer if you wanted to export from another place and bring events in that way. And your recurrence with differing start times is not something the plugin is currently set up to do.
Our plugin adds a calendar to display events in WordPress and the ticketing add-ons simply connect third-party e-commerce solutions to those events. From what you’ve described your needs as, I don’t think we’re going to be a good fit for you.

GuestHi Julie!
Peter is somewhere else, it makes me wonder if you’re copy paste the message or the name i used is too common. π
1) For the filter bar, Filter Bar add-on has not been released, but you will be able to filter on categories, tags, venues, cost, day, and time of day (e.g., morning, evening). when is the release day? I’m not so much concern about the search features.
2) So for the calender importing, you saying it only supports facebook. How about importing or pulling from google calendar then? I was thinking using woo-sensei LMS to update google calender, then plugin eventpro pull the date from google calendar.
3) I’m aware that your ticket plugin simply turn woo commerce into a ticket selling site etc. But from your knowledges or your technical team, can woo-commerce + its plugin sensei(course LMS) works with your event calender pro or woo-ticket
Juile, I would appreciate this time if you would reply points by points reply. it’s much easier to follow. π

ParticipantI’m sorry I called you Peter!
I don’t copy and paste, but I do use a scratch pad that I obviously didn’t clear well enough.
So hello, John,
1) You will be able to filter on categories, tags, venues, cost, day, and time of day (e.g., morning, evening).
2) No, we do not import from Google calendar.
3) I’ve never heard of anyone using that setup, so I can’t say if it would or wouldn’t work. You may want to ask the folks over at WooSensei what they might think about it too.

ParticipantHi John,
As far as the release date goes, I really can’t be more specific than that. But rest assured that it is high on our priority list and I think you can rest easy for your timeframe.
With regards to the remainder of your questions, we do unfortunately have to limit the actual support we provide here to paying customers. We do offer limited support on the WordPress.org forum (http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/the-events-calendar). May I ask that you head over there to ask your questions?

GuestSorry Julie,
please let me know which part of it isn’t a pre sales questions, if i can’t know what are the limits of what your plugins can do i won’t purchase it, i hope you understand it.
i know your plugins are amazingly good! but some features on the website didn’t explain clearly, nor the demo or videos you guys provide is enough. I watched all your videos and demo and read all the wording, just some questions cant be answered.
Hence i asked. I’m quite puzzled by your reply. Please forgive me if i ask too many questions but those are questions in the last reply of mine, is strictly related to your plugin features. I don’t remember asking how to set this or that in my last reply, only can it DO THIs or can it do that only. Forgive me for my earlier replies. π
2) for the tribe woo tricket system, does it setting the selling one event, which have different day sessions? Example below.
For this questions, it’s asking do your plugin allows admin to set one event with multi days with different duration and time.
Day 1-1st Jan 8am to 5pm,
Day 2, 4th Jan 8am to 5pm
Day 3 7th Jan 8am to 12pm3) do you have a demo of a selling ticket site using woo ticket or eventbrite?
( i found)4) since tribe woo ticket is using woo commerce, does it allow the viewer to view the shopping of all sales events like a shopping cart to filter by price or location etc? Since you guys are using woo-commerce, does the tribe woo ticket use the woo-commerce filter system for admin or users to filter different kind of tickets ( not under event plugin)

ParticipantHi John,
First, my apologies. Somehow I lost track of this thread. I’ve failed on my end to provide the level of support we hold ourselves to. There may be reasons, but there is no excuse. Let’s get you taken care of.
2) Currently our recurring events are probably not as flexible as it looks like you might need. To set up one recurring event (actually three sessions, like your example) they would have to have the same start/end times and have some pattern as to the days of the week (like Tuesday and Thursday). And while it’s a highly requested feature that we are looking to provide soon, the plugins currently aren’t set up to sell one ticket for all three sessions.
4) Once a ticket is created it is just the same as any other WooCommerce product and you’ll have all the capabilities that WooCommerce provides.
Again, my apologies for the delay. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you.
