Hi Henry,
Thanks for reaching out!
While you can add tickets/RSVPs to recurring events, it will be the exact same ticket/RSVP on every event in the series. This means that if a user adds a ticket from an event on say, June 23rd and then another ticket for an event in the same series on June 27th, they will have one ticket in their cart with a quantity of two (not two separate tickets for June 23rd and June 27th). That is why we say “recurring tickets/RSVPs” are not currently supported.
One thing you could do to cut down on having to copy/paste the same information into new events is to create the events using the recurring events functionality, and then break each of the events from the series. This way, you could go back and add the tickets to each of the (now individual) events without having to reenter the event information.
The good news is that we are currently working on developing the functionality to support adding tickets to recurring events, but unfortunately I don’t have a timeline as to when it will be implemented, as it is quite involved. I would recommend casting your vote for this feature over in our feature ideas forum. This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help plan for future development.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you here, but please let me know if you have any further questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer
