Guesthi Support Team!
a client of ours needs advanced fuctionality of the Events Calender: they want to implement a filter bar to filter their events, as in the demo here: http://wpshindig.com/Also, we were wondering if it is possible, to show organizer and location in the mouse over monthly calender view and in the list view. Is it possible to solve these issues by upgrading to Events Calender Pro Plugin? or do we need the Filter Bar extension?

GuestI have nearly the same question:
i wonder how the organizer view listed as a benifit in the pro version looks like.
I checked your demo page but there is no organizer button behind the view menu. The filter bar contains organizer – is this the organizer view for pro or is this the additional filter bar plugin? i am confused ?

MemberHi Anna,
Yes! Our Filter Bar add-on will most certainly the advanced filters to your calendar, just like the demo site.
It is indeed possible to show the venue and organizer information in the mouseover for events in Month View, but I’m afraid it is not a setting in Events Calendar PRO. Instead, it does take a bit of custom development — in fact, here is a thread that provides an example, as well as we link to another way to go about it.
Sergei, you asked:
The filter bar contains organizer – is this the organizer view for pro or is this the additional filter bar plugin? i am confused
I think the confusion is that there is no “Organizer View” in Events Calendar PRO. Instead, the plugin adds pages for Organizers that visitors can click to from the event post. For example, here is an Organizer Page from the demo: http://wpshindig.com/organizer/matt-gross/
Cheers!

GuestHey Geoff,
thank you for your reply.
I just wondered because everything in the core vs. pro compare list – https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/ – that is called “view” can be found in the view menu – just the “Venue and Organizer view” not.

Anna, I see this thread is marked “Resolved” but I figure I’ll let you have a chance to confirm all is good before I close it. Let me know if you have any other questions here about Filter Bar or our plugin features and I’d be happy to help. 🙂
Cheers!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
