GuestHello,
I’m trying to decide whether I need to buy Events Cal PRO, or whether I can make do with the free version until I get this project more dialled in.
Basically, I need to try the filtering options of Advanced Post Manager, but it will not work with the non-pro version of EC:
In the WordPress dashboard I go to my list of events, but I do not see the ‘Filters and Columns’ collapsible menu. It simply isn’t there. So, I wondered whether APM is no longer available to use with EC basic, and I therefore need tgo purchase Pro to find out if these filters will even achieve what I need?
Thanks for your advice

MemberHi D
Advanced Post Manager is and I believe always has been limited to working with Events Calendar Pro. It used to reside within Events Calendar Pro but the features of APM were later bundled into it’s own plugin.
Learn more about how to use features like saving filters for faster sorting in our guide: Filter and sort events with Advanced Post Manager.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

GuestThanks Courtney!
Makes sense. Hopefully this makes sense and you can help, I understand a few lines of text are not the best way to explain, let’s try anyway:
I want to publish a list of exhibits opening each month, some shows will run for several months, some just a few day. So, I want to avoid repetition, but be able to โremindโ people when shows that may have opened 3 months ago are about to end.
It would also be great to be able to filter to show recent openings, i.e.; last 7 days of the previous month.
Is this the kind of thing that is possible with The Event Calendar Pro + Advanced Post Management?
Thanks for any advice you may have!

MemberHey D
Advanced Post Manager is a sorting tool for administrators on the back end of the “Events” area in WordPress. It does not reveal anything publicly.
However, filtering by users on the front end is possible with Filter Bar. You can see it in action on our demo site: WP Shindig Demo Site https://wpshindig.com/events/. It is the 2nd row at the top.
Check that out and let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
