Small issue I’m experiencing with the widget.
In the admin area, when configuring the widget, the filter does not seem to be sticking when I select a specific category to display. After clicking on Save, it reverts back to “Select One” for the filter setting. On the pages where the widget is showing up: http://www.berkeleycounty.org/about-berkeley-co/history/ it is pulling in all of the events and not limiting them to the single category I want.

We are also running W3 Total Cache on the site, if that has any bearing on how things might be working. Thanks!

    Hi prodesignwv,

Just to avoid frustration in the future please be aware that during the working week we typically try to answer within 24hrs of a thread being created – which I don’t think has elapsed just yet – though we can run over a little during busy periods.

If you are using a caching plugin that could certainly explain why things don’t change on the frontend – since the output will be cached and not necessarily refreshed after you have made changes – however I wouldn’t expect this to affect the widget settings themselves (within the admin environment, that is).

I see you marked down that you tried deactivating all other plugins and also switched to a default, unmodified theme – can you confirm what if any impact that had on this problem?

    Thanks!

Closing this one out as it’s been a while without any update. Of course if we can assist with anything else please don’t hesitate to open a new thread. Thanks!
