Events Calendar Suddenly Not Loading

The Events Calendar is not loading, however, individual events load correctly. The calendar was working and showing fine earlier this week. To my knowledge, nothing has been updated on the site. I have tried disabling plugins, and resetting the permalinks.

Can someone please advise.

Hi Brandon. Sorry to hear about this issue.

From what I’m seeing at that link, I’d guess it’s an issue with Google Maps. Do you have any other plugins (or even a theme) with mapping? We see conflicts with those things on occassion. If yes, please try disabling them and see if that gets the calendar to load.

If you find a conflict, please tell me about it. If you don’t figure it out, please grab your system information and pasting it here.

Make sure to use the “Set as private reply” checkbox to protect your private information from the public.

You can find the system info by going to WP Admin > Events > Settings, clicking on the “Help” tab, and scrolling down to the “System Information” box. (Or by going to [yoursite]/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=tribe-events-calendar&tab=help)

That will give me a lot of extra information to help diagnose the problem.

Hi, I was able to resolve the issue … It seems there were 23 venues not being geo-located, due to incorrect address or lack of information … It was related to Google Maps, but not through a plug-in or theme. The loading issue seems to occur when multiple addresses cannot be found by the google map api. Interesting.

Brandon, thanks for letting me know you got everything straightened out on your end.

Venues should be able to have an empty address, but I imagine if an address is “123 <no street> New York, NY” then it’d fail to get mapped.
