Events calendar sidebar widget not working on some pages (custom post type page)

I have Events Calendar Pro installed, and the Events Calendar widget installed and working on several pages in sidebars and in a widgetized footer.

However I have a lot of pages that are posts/pages in a Custom Post Type (created in More Types plugin). When loading the widget on these pages, the styling and links to events doesn’t work properly (hover box doesn’t appear and the links can’t be clicked). Seems the jquery/stylesheet doesn’t load correctly maybe. The arrows changing month works fine though with the AJAX i guess.

I have tried to deactivate all other plugins – except “More Types” that creates the custom post type. Can’t figure out why. Any ideas? It is important that I get this to work.

Otherwise it’s a great plugin. Hope you can help…

I have a test site running: http://www.book-et-band.dk/afdeling/hamburg/ where you can see it in the right sidebar (a custom post type). And you can see here: http://www.book-et-band.dk/om-nogu/ that it works fine on pages, that are not custom post types.

Hi Annette,

For some reason the plugins CSS and JS are not being loaded on those pages. Does it work without the More Types plugin enabled? If so, my suggestion would be to not use that plugin and just register the custom post types yourself.

I have now registered the post type myself – and deactivated the more types plugin. Seems to work actually now 🙂 Not completely done testing, but looks good so far. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sounds good Annette, it’s strange that that plugin would not be loading certain scripts but it’s probably better to not use if it does.
