Events Calendar RSS feed contains incorrect date for mailchimp

Hi, the feed created at http://www.monishealthychoice.com/feed/ shows the event start date as the pubdate of the rss item. When this feed is setup through mailchimp as an RSS campaign, the event sends out every day until that date is reached. If the pubdate was the date the event/post was actually published, this issue wouldn’t occur. Is this a bug? or is there a way for me to modify the feed that is being created by theeventscalendar so that the pubdate reads from the date the event was published?
