Events Calendar pro + WooTickets + Woocommerce + woocommerce gift certificates

Hello !

You may not know but ignitewoo is very close to add a new plugin call wooevents pro which will be usable with woocommerce and woocommerce gift certificates from ignitewoo too…

so my question is : is it possible to use the upcoming 3.0 version Events Calendar pro + WooTickets + Woocommerce + woocommerce gift certificates (from ignitewoo) to make my users able to buy events like a gift for someone else ? This is critical point for me as 80% of my clients buy tickets as gift !

Hi Bali,

Thanks for the note. While I cannot guarantee that an outside plugin will work perfectly, I can say that generally plugins that are compatible with WooCommerce work with WooTickets as well. WooTickets is like a bridge between Events Calendar and WooCommerce, but all the payment goes through WooCommerce. You might also want to check with the support teams at WooCommerce and/or ignitewoo, as they could probably shed some light on this or foresee potential conflicts.

How does it work? Does Wootickets have the same features as Events Calendar pro? So if I would like the events section of my site to have the functionality of Events Calendar Pro and I would like to sell events through Woocommerce, would I buy Wootickets, or Wootickets + Events Calendar Pro?

Does Wootickets have the same features as Events Calendar pro?

No, WooTickets and Events Calendar PRO are different add-ons to our core plugin, The Events Calendar. You can read about the features of each one on their product pages, linked from the menu at the top of this page.

If you want to have the PRO functionality and sell events through WooCommerce, you will need the free plugin, The Events Calendar, and the two premium plugins, Events Calendar PRO and WooTickets.
