ParticipantHi,
I just tried updating the Events Calendar Pro plugin (base plugin updating just fine) and I got (screenshot attached: PluginErrorMessage). I searched the forums and tried doing a manual update by downloading the files from my account login and uploading via FTP (which I’ve done many times- and just to be on the safe side I followed the instructions to the letter) and when I reactivated the pro plugin, I had 2 different php errors (attached as screenshots). I reinstalled the previous version of the plugin (4.4.18) and the site is now fine but I need to get this fixed. Any insight into what happened and how to move forward is most appreciated. Thank you!

MemberHi there,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m so sorry to hear that you are having problems to update your plugin. Let me help you to solve this!
Could you please completely remove Events Calendar PRO from your site (via dashboard or FTP), download a brand new copy from https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/ , install it again via Dashboard and let me know how it goes?
I believe that content is missing from your copy of events-calendar-pro (perhaps something went wrong while transferring the plugin files to server via FTP?)
I hope this helps! Regarding that cURL error, I’m linking this thread to our internal bug report so you will be notified as soon as a solution is available.
If you have any other questions at all please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Cheers,
Patricia

MemberHey,
Good news! We have fixed this issue in our plugin updates server. No software update is required for the fix to be applied, plugin updates should just work fine now 🙂
Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help,
Best,
