ParticipantUpgrading Events Calendar Pro has screwed up the site. I’m getting a notification to upgrade to To begin using Events Calendar PRO, please install the latest version of The Events Calendar, yet it is already installed. : (
When both plugins (core + pro) are enabled, the following occurs:* Events disappears from admin bar (backend)
* home page switches to the blog (vs. static home page)
* Going to Themes > Customize cycles a constant refresh page.
* Turning off the core Gravity Forms plugin (and leaving PRO enabled) stops the chaos, but the Events Calendar functionality is completely gone (clicking loads home page).P.S. I had the developer license (associated with this account) and I had the client buy a license once we deployed live:

ParticipantHi, cjvezeau. Great question!
Thanks for giving us the site login. That made troubleshooting much easier!
It looks like you had inadvertently deactivated the main The Events Calendar plugin. I’ve activated it now. Does that fix your issue?

ParticipantNo. I deactivated again.
The result of activating that is that the static home page goes away and is replaced by the blog feed (per my symptoms description). Please re-read the original post.
I think the best thing to do is to roll back to the previous version. Can you point me to a location where I can download and install the prior version.November 6, 2013 at 3:26 pm #75040Kelly
ParticipantNo problem. Have you tried adding the “Fix for Overridden Static Front Page” under the Useful Code Snippets in the right sidebar?

ParticipantKelly – That fixed it. Thanks!
Do you know when the next release will come out AND will I need to remove that snippet of code from functions.php when it does?November 7, 2013 at 11:52 am #75201Kelly
ParticipantThat’s great news, cjvezeau! 🙂 Well done!
The new version was released last night! Feel free to update the plugins when you’ve have a chance to backup the site and try updating.
It’s also a good idea to remove old snippets (related to bugs) from your functions.php after they’ve been resolved by the production release. Thanks for bringing that up!
Would you like me to leave this ticket open until you have a chance to update to 3.2?
