Events Calendar PRO – Sort by City?

Does the Events Calendar PRO plugin have the ability to sort events by city? Ive noticed in the demo, that you can search by date, city and title but I would like the option of having a page that has all cities listed, so that users can just click on the city they are in to see all events for that month in that city…

For example (listed like this):

Events This Month in…

Toronto (11)
New York (3)
Orlandao (13)

and users can click on the city to see the events for that month?

Hi Dave,

Thanks for your interest. There isn’t a built-in way to list the cities exactly as you described, but there are a few solutions that might work for you.

Events Calendar PRO includes a Map View which not only plots events on map but ties in with the location search. So for example a search for New York City would bring up all the events there, zoom in on the map to show where they are in the city, and list them below.

One option I’ve seen other people use to do something like this is to have either their event categories or tags be city names. That way, they can link directly to a page showing a list of events in that city. If you want to go this route, you might also consider our Filter Bar plugin which allows users to sort events by Category, Tag, Venue, and much more.
