Events Calendar Pro not allowing order by customization in Toolset views

Hi there,
I am using events calendar pro to manage our meetings for different committees. We have a table which is built using Toolset types and views that displays all the meetings with their agendas and minutes.

Recently the order has not been correct and setting it to ascending or descending within the view has no effect. Disabling the Pro plugin seems to bring the order by functionality back.

I was wondering if there is a setting I can disable or enable that will work where I dont have to disable the plugin.

All plugins are up to date.

The “Recurring event instances” was the offending setting that caused the ordering issue.
