I have a client that would like to use the Events Calendar Pro plugin within a WordPress Multisite install. Couple questions…

    1) Does Events Calendar Pro work with Multisite?
    2) Can you skin each sites calendar independently.

They essentially will have 5 sub-domains using multisite, all using the same theme. They want the calendar to be unique (CSS color styling) for each of the 5 versions though.

Hello Veron and thanks for getting in touch. 🙂

    1) Does Events Calendar Pro work with Multisite?

Yes! In fact, we have a multisite license that would be perfect for you.

    2) Can you skin each sites calendar independently.

Absolutely. The way we treat template overrides in the calendar is to store them directly in the theme directory rather than the plugin. That allows you to override templates on a per-site basis. Same goes for CSS–those styles will be stored directly in the theme rather than the plugin, so you can skin those on an individual basis. Check out our Themer’s Guide for more info on how the template and style overrides work. Lots of great info in there. 🙂

Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know.

    Cheers!
    Geoff
