Events Calendar Pro has disappeared

Hi, in attempting to amend some features of my calendar today, I’ve discovered that Events Calendar Pro (and all its recurring event functionality) has disappeared from my website. It isn’t a licensing issue as my license is valid to 8th Sept 2017.

I’ve tried reinstalling, downloaded the latest zip file and added the plugin back into wordpress. However I then receive the following error message:

Installing Plugin from uploaded file: events-calendar-pro.4.4.13.zip

Unpacking the package… Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /www2/8d2/www.hopechurchfamily.org/web/wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/
Plugin install failed.

Please can you advise what to do to fix it?

We are sorry to hear about the update glitch you have experienced.
I would love to help you with this topic.

It looks like something is off with your current the Events Calendar Pro files.
The most efficient approach to fixing this is:

1. Using a FTP software or your CPanel’s file manager, head over to /www2/8d2/www.hopechurchfamily.org/web/wp-content/plugins/
2. Find and manually delete the /events-calendar-pro/ folder
3. Reinstall “from scratch” (using your downloaded zip file)
4. Activate the plugin
