Guest
Hi !

I am enamoured with your The Events Calendar plugin
and your EDD Tickets Extension as well.

I have some questions before I go pro however
that need to be asked before I purchase both.

The Events Calendar Pro Plugin >

1.Is there a way to have this calendar appear on an external device in a Caldav system like Owncloud calendar?

2. Does it have a calendar output that will work with calendar other apps for viewing? I don’t want to import events one by one to something… if there was an events iCal feed or something like that it would make things a lot easier for me to use.

3. Does that feed contain details on who is booked at that time and is that customisable so that it is only viewable for me and not other users viewing the calendar? Ideally I want to see participants for a event time on my external devices but display “BOOKED” for a event time if it is filled for people looking to buy tickets to events.

4. Is it possible to add a link to the event time description somewhere so that times can be converted to other time zones. I am thinking to pop a box up for http://www.worldtimebuddy.com/event-widgets for example
as I have some overseas clients.

The EDD Tickets Plugin >

I am going to use this to sell events as individual events in a client booking system so each event will have one spot to sell only. Ideally that spot would be available at different price points and I would leave it up to the user to decide what price they are going to pay and if this is not possible I would like to be able to use coupons to control discounting.

1.Can tickets be discounted using coupon codes from the EDD system?

2.Can tickets have multiple price points or can you Issue multiple tickets at different price points and then close the event when only one of the tickets is paid automatically? IE one event + one attendee + multiple price levels

3.Can some tickets be set to be non-discountable?

4.Can the SOLD OUT notification on the calendar be changed to another text string (in my case BOOKED)?

5. Is the outgoing confirmation email after payment customisable?

Please note that your page :
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/edd-tickets-new-user-primer/

has this text at the bottom :
“When it comes to using the plugin, that’s the whole experience in a nutshell. We have dev-minded docs over at our docs page, for those looking to take it a step further, and a dedicated forum for EDD Tickets that you can check out if you’ve got questions as well.”

The links in that text are going 404 for me.

ParticipantHi Chris,
The Events Calendar PRO plugin is designed to display calendars on WordPress websites. Any other use would be customized and not within the scope of the plugin. The PRO add-on does, however, add the ability to download the events in iCal format for use elsewhere. You can see the plugins in action over at http://wpshindig.com/events/ and test out the iCal feature yourself.
Regarding the EDD Tickets questions, this is the backend area where the EDD tickets are setup. http://d.pr/i/jptg Once you’ve added the ticket it looks like this. http://d.pr/i/KYxY After that EDD takes over and you can edit it from there. Most of the remaining functionality comes from EDD itself and you have this http://d.pr/i/C70B available in the menu. You may want to peruse the EDD site for your specific questions as they would have more information there.
And thank you so much for letting me know about the broken links! They should be working now.
