“To make it a .zip, right click the folder and select Compress. Then you will have a .zip file again.” does not work.

On my Mac I get 4 options in the drop down box: OPEN, SHOW IN FINDER, COPY ADDRESS, REMOVE FROM LIST.

If I double click the downloaded folder, I get several text documents and 3 folders; events-calendar-pro.php, lang folder, license.txt, readme.txt, src folder, vendor folder. If I control>right click these they open but I don’t know what to do with them, have no way to download them upload them offload them or install them?

I don’t know what FTP is. This plugin should not be so difficult to download and install. Just sending me links to generic documentation is not helping me solve this problem. I sent all my website and computer info in a previous email. Make this work!

    HELP!

Hi, Barry. Sorry you’re having trouble getting started.

When you download the plugin .zip fromĀ https://theeventscalendar.com/my-account/downloads/, don’t unzip it on your Mac. Instead, go to your site’s wp-admin > Plugins > Add New > Upload > and drag the .zip from Finder to there.

Once installed, you need to Activate it.

You can read in more detail atĀ https://codex.wordpress.org/Managing_Plugins#Installing_Plugins

Please let me know how this goes for you.
