ParticipantMy client was running Events Calendar Pro v 4.0.5. They have recurring events and noticed that the time showed one hour behind after midnight on March 13 for the events. I upgraded to the v 4.0.6 of Calendar and Calendar Pro and it did not fix the issue.
However, I opened an existing recurring event and edit the series without making any changes and clicked Update and now the time is showing correct for that recurring event after daylight savings time. Since my client has MANY MANY recurring items on their calendar I’m hoping there is an easy way to fix this issue.
Thanks in advance.

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help troubleshoot this with you.
I was not able to reproduce the issue with new recurring events, same as you.
Do you happen to know when the other recurring events were created? Was it before the release of 4.0?
Unfortunately, once the recurring series is created the only way to modify the times is to manually edit them.
Let me know and we can go from here.
Thanks

ParticipantI am having this issue – and it is on events that I just created today – in the latest version of the plugin. I have tried all the troubleshooting – simple theme (twenty-fourteen), no other plugins, etc.
I also have many, many recurring events and don’t want to manually fix them all twice a year!

MemberHi,
Thanks for posting here. I can certainly help you here, but we can help you better if you create your own topic in the forum, where we can interact with you one on one. Also, we encourage you to post on your own topic because every time we post it will email the author of the topic.
So can you please post your own topic and outline all the event date and time details for the recurring event that reproduces the issue.
So we can get this bug fixed once and for all.
Thanks

ParticipantThanks for getting back to me. I have fixed it now by opening each recurring event and saving it. Now the dates show correct.

MemberI apologize that is the only work around for this now.
It will be fixed going forward and we are putting a test in place to make sure.
I am going to close this ticket to new replies, but the issue is still open and we will update this ticket once we release a fix.
If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and reference this one.
Thanks

MemberHello,
Thank you for reporting this issue. We weren’t able to get a fix for it into our upcoming release (4.1). However, please know that the problem is still on our radar and is ticketed within our system to be addressed in a future maintenance release. We’ll do our best to keep you posted when we are able to get a solution in place. Thank you for your patience while we improve and expand our plugins.
Best,
