    Hello, I purchased the Events Calendar Pro to have 2 distinct calendars, separated by category and embedded by shortcode. The category shortcode seems to work on initial page load on the current month, but upon browsing through next/prev months etc. it reverts back to the default /events archive url and therefore the specified category list is lost. I’ve recently learned about the Filter Bar plugin … does this better fit what I’m trying to do (as in, once I filter by a category, will the calendar only display that category’s events throughout the navigation process)?

    Hello,

    I’m sorry that you are running into this issue! We are aware of it and are working on getting it resolved.

    Filter Bar does add the ability to filter by category on your main events page, but this will not affect the shortcode or resolve this issue unfortunately.

    I’ve linked this thread to our internal ticket, so as soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know here. I apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing, and thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved! Please let me know if you have any questions in the meantime.
