ParticipantThe links do not go to the event. All links have “#” as their link.
See it here: http://www.conwinonline.com/events
I am referring to the sidebar widget, not the full calendar.
Thank youJuly 29, 2013 at 4:51 pm #57674Neill
MemberHi Conwin,
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. We try to get to all our support within 24 hours, unfortunately this thread seemed to slip through the crack. Really sorry about that.
The issue you are having is a known issue and should be addressed in the 3.04 maintenance update. Here’s a full list of what was in that update: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/release-the-events-calendar-3-0-2-events-calendar-pro-3-0-4-add-ons-3-0-1/
Let me know if you need any help with this, or if you upgrade and the issue still persists. Apologies again for taking a little longer to get back to you.

MemberHi Conwin, and Gcr,
Two things. Firstly could you let me know if these events are recurring events? Also could you both let me know if this still persists after flushing your permalinks? Simply visit Settings > Permalinks – you don’t need to adjust anything.
Let me know how things look after that. If we still have an issue we may need to dig a little deeper.@gct – could you also confirm what version of the plugin you are running and double check that there are no other plugins that are causing an issue, or that the theme you are running is causing an issue, you can do this by reverting to a default theme such as twenty-tweleve.
Thanks

ParticipantHi
These are not recurring events. I flushed the permalinks. Nothing has changed. I was having this problem with version 3.0.1 last week. I upgraded the plugin to 3.0.4 and am still having this issue.July 31, 2013 at 11:26 am #58069conwin
ParticipantHi again
SO I just looked at he demo calendar and realized that I had removed the list that drops down beneath the calendar when you click the calendar day. Once I added that back in, the links started working, BUT they open the list below the calendar widget and that is not what I want. I expected the calendar to open to the page that the events is on. How can I do this?FYI on the widget though – Another problem with the widget is that in the admin you can set the number of events that show and that number is not working. It always shows 5 events no matter what number you enter. This seems to be a bug.

ParticipantHere is an update on what I have concluded on this. The list of events that appears below the calendar when you click a link is necessary. It makes sense that you cannot click to the event from the calendar link because if there is more than 1 event, it would not work. I was looking at this incorrectly. I was thinking you could click a link on the calendar and go to the event. Problem is if there is more than 1 event. So it seems that is is working as long as the list of events is below the calendar. Thanks for your help.

MemberHi Conwin,
Thanks for summarizing your finding. Are you all set now that the functionality is clear in your head? How about the other issue of the number of events not changing despite what you set on the back end? If this is still an issue, it might be good to log it as a separate thread so that we can tackle it individually, that way it’ll be available for other users that might have a similar issue.
@ gcr – did the info that conwin provided help you also? Let us know if you are all set also?
Thanks

ParticipantHi,

as you said, when I change my theme to Twenty-twelve, it’s works.
I used the LondonLive Theme, do you have an idea how can i fix it?thank you

ParticipantHi,
To complete, with my LondonLive Theme, there is no link (neither next or previous month) working. The url finishes by a # and go up on top of the page. In your opinion what is the problem?Thank you again

MemberHi Gcr,
It sounds like your Theme may be the issue, and that could be any number of reasons. In oreder to give you the best possible support, I’m going to get you to post this in a sperate thread and I’ll go ahead and close this one out. As conwins issue is fixed, it would better serve you and other user that might have the same issue to start a new thread and we can take it from there.
Thanks
