Michael
ParticipantHello & Happy New Year!
I purchased a personal license for Events Calendar Pro but it does not seem to work with the WooThemes Canvas theme. I am using the “Default Page Template”. I wanted to see if you might know anything about this, or what you think could be causing the problem. It works fine with the Twenty Eleven and Twenty Twelve themes. It also works with the Woo Function theme.
I did a clean install of WordPress, Events Calendar, and the Canvas theme and still have the problem. Here is the link:
http://tribe.michaelsharps.com/events/Here are the install steps:
—————————–
1) Install of WordPress v.3.5
2) Deleted all plugins
3) Installed Events Calendar Pro 2.0.10, and Events Calendar 2.0.10
4) Installed Woo Canvas Theme 5.10The site is hosted at Hostgator. Here is the server info:
———————————————————
Apache version 2.2.23
PHP version 5.2.17
MySQL version 5.5.23-55I can provide you with the wordpress login if you want to poke around – just email me.
Here is a link to the actual website that I installed Events Calendar Pro and having problems with:

ParticipantHi Michael,
Have you tried changing the Events Template in Events > Settings > Template to the Default Events Template?
Can you provide us with a copy of the Canvas theme for evaluation purposes so we can try to figure it out? You can email to pro [at] tri [dot] be and attn. to me.
Thanks,

ParticipantThanks for the quick reply.
Yes, default events template works, but I loose the custom css for the page. I see that I can add HTML before and after the calendar which should work, but just wondered why it isn’t working with the default page template.
I have sent an email with the canvas theme.
Thanks for your help.

ParticipantHi Michael,
I’m not sure why it doesn’t work with the default page template but you can get your styling to work with the default events template. All you need to do is modify the /wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/views/ecp-page-template.php by making a copy and placing in an ‘events’ folder in your active theme. Then, you can edit the file and include all the template specific wrappers (divs) from the Canvas page template (similar to adding the HTML before & after but this is more direct.
I would suggest doing that.
Cheers,

ParticipantI added my wrappers to the fields, “Add HTML before calendar” and “Add HTML after calendar”, on the Events Template Settings tab and it works fine (very handy to have those fields).
Thanks for your help.
