Events Calendar Pro – All Recurring events duplicated!

Hello, after upgrading your Plugin to the last version all my recurring events are now duplicated in the backend as many times as the recurring settings. For instance, if I have a event every Monday for 3 weeks in the backend I see 3 single events, in the front end I see the event every day for 3 weeks!

How can I fix it? Is there any Duplicated event cleaner?

I’m sorry you’re experiencing difficulties.

While I’m not sure which version you updated from, I suspect the problem may be the one detailed here:

Can you read through that blog post and try out the duplicate cleanup plugin it links to? Note that if there are a very large number of duplicates it may need to be run multiple times.

Hi Barry, I’ve already tried your suggestion but as long as I gave version 3.9.1 of my Plugins it doesn’t work.

Any other suggestion?

Just to clarify, do you mean the plugin does nothing at all/you get an error when you try to activate? Or that when you hit the Merge Duplicate Recurring Events button the page instantly reloads without accomplishing anything?

I mean that when I hit the Merge Button it loads a white page without any results.

I see, well that definitely shouldn’t happen!

Do you also have Events Calendar PRO activated when you try this? Have you attempted to run it with only the cleanup plugin, The Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO and a default theme in place?

As I don’t see the same issue locally I’m inclined to think a conflict may be getting in the way of things – and really there are no other tools we can offer you to help with the cleanup process.
