    I updated TEC to 3.1 using the update in admin of WordPress. I get the error box that says “The following plugins are out of date: Events Calendar PRO 3.0.5.”. When I go to check my license key, the field is empty. I put in my license key, save, get the green valid key notice. I go to check for new updates, but nothing there for ECP 3.1. When I go back to the license key field, it is blank. I also tried downloading the new version of ECP from the Tribe website and upload through WordPress add plugin, still doesn’t update.

    Please advise. I am running this on a Multisite installation and haven’t had a problem with updates up to this point. This is on a live site, so I can’t deactivate plugins or themes easily.

    Hi jeataylor,

    I’m sorry to hear that the update process has been so bumpy for you! I really appreciate that you checked your license key and tried manually updating the plugin. When you downloaded the latest version and uploaded it, did you first deactivate and delete the old version of PRO? That’s usually necessary since they share a folder name. You shouldn’t lose data doing this, but even so it’s best to do a database backup first.

    Also, I wanted to double check- are you installing PRO on the multisite’s main network site, or a sub-site? Multisites can definitely complicate things πŸ™‚ But hopefully we’ll get you all squared away and up to date ASAP. Thanks for your patience in the meantime!

    I got it updated. I was trying to find updating instructions for PRO on the site, but couldn’t find any. Could the instructions be added so I don’t forget this in the future?
