I’m interested in purchasing a license for the Events Calendar Pro but have a question. Once I place my events in a category, would I be able to create a filter for a specific category that I would map to a button? Basically can I map a filter to a button?

    Hi Eileen,

Thanks so much for your interest in Events Calendar PRO! Both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO support full calendar views for specific categories, and you can drop these URLs onto any link or button you’d like. For more information on working with event categories on your site, check out our Knowledgebase article here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/event-categories/

And for a quick demo of what a category-specific view might look like, here’s an example category from our WP Shindig demo site:

I hope that helps–let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here! 🙂 Cheers, and thanks again!

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
