ParticipantHi, love Events calendar with wootickets, its just what I’m looking for, however I have a specialised theme that is conflicting with events calendar. The pages are not showing in the theme all other pages generate with a /#/ to load within the theme. None of the events calendar pages load at all this way. I have tried using absolute urls that direct to the proper pages, this works however once you land on the pages all the menu URLS are then disabled. I have tried creating custom templates, this kind of works however all the menu URLS are then stop working (http://linsrv103.linuxcontrolpanel.co.uk/~potent/potenttest/events/#/~potent/potenttest/contact/) I am looking for some code that I can fit into a template page where all Events Calendar content is generated within that template (like the wordpress fix)

MemberHi Charles,
That’s certainly looking quite specialized and so we may be very limited in terms of how much support we can offer here (it’s also hard to help without knowing what’s happening ‘under the hood’ with respect to your theme).
I’m also not entirely sure what you’re trying to achieve with your customizations to list.php – can you provide a few more specifics of what changes you are making there?
Thanks!
Barry

ParticipantHi Barry, I just need to get these pages working properly either by: 1. Having the pages show up properly in their hashtag urls (http://linsrv103.linuxcontrolpanel.co.uk/~potent/potenttest/#/~potent/potenttest/events/ as opposed to http://linsrv103.linuxcontrolpanel.co.uk/~potent/potenttest/events/), all my other pages work fine or 2. By having the menu links working properly at their absolute address (again, http://linsrv103.linuxcontrolpanel.co.uk/~potent/potenttest/events/). I was having similar problems with my wordpress pages but managed to get around it by using shortcodes and creating a template through which all wordpress content flowed. For some reason the url calling system that allows pages to load without reloading the entire page is broken on events calendar pages and only works within the page and not on the menu items. I was trying to use an iframe to pull in the events list but this didn’t work. I also tried to create a template list page but the problem is that all pages generated by events calendar behave the same way. Do you know of any reason why the pages will not load by their hashtag URLs or why it would disable the facility for being able to do this with other links. I can provide you with any information you need.

MemberIt’s difficult to say without knowing how your theme performs this magic. It sounds like perhaps the ‘hashtag’ portion of the URL isn’t being ‘mapped’ and interpreted as a normal request would be – but that’s a vague guess.
I think we’d really need to get a copy of the theme and dig in to it to find an answer for you here – but unfortunately at this time we just don’t have enough bandwidth to facilitate that (and it would be unusual for us to do that in any case).
Have you reached out to the theme author to see what they think about this?

ParticipantHi, Charles. It looks like you’ve moved on from this issue. If you do need further assistance, please open another thread and reference this one. Thanks!
