events calendar page slug not creating a page

I’ve been reading on how to install pro version on this new web build using the self generated page slug but it’s not creating any page nor is it in the menus so I can add it to the menu. I don’t think this has anything to do with the authorization code as the existing site is still using it. I reinstalled a new copy of the events calendar and thought to get it set up before I move the auth. code from old site to new. I wanted to make sure once I move the new site to root, that I could start adding events right away without any flaws. So if you could help with this page slug and why it isn’t creating a page that would be good.

What is going on is that our plugin does not actually create a page. It still needs exclusivity over the slug defined under Events -> Settings -> General though.

As the article suggests, all you need to do is add a link from your WordPress menu (probably http://newsite.trubblebrewing.com/events in your case).

If that still does not work, try some different settings under Events -> Settings -> Display for Page template.
