Events calendar only showing Archive

Hello,

Events calendar has been working great, but last night we had our first event and now the calendar only just shows archives.
There were events for all weekends in october

Hi Shawn,

Sorry for the trouble here!

Quick question: do you happen to have an existing page in the Pages area of your WordPress admin that uses the /events slug? Or perhaps you have another calendar plugin installed?

Just checking because that does not appear to be the default view for The Events Calendar and I want to make sure there isn’t an existing page interfering with it.

Let’s start there and see what we find.

Hi Geoff,

Thank you for responding. I do not have any other calendar plugins installed. It worked great up until my first event passed. I had only made one change in the time that it stopped working which was installed a query monitor. However, I disabled it and it didnt fix the issue.

I also do not have any other “events” pages. I do use a redirect from http://www.jaxterror.com/tickets to http://www.jaxterror.com/events but I tried disabling that and it also did not correct the issue.

Thanks for following up, Shawn! Sorry the issue is still there, though.

Let’s try testing for conflicts. I only want to try this because I haven’t been able to replicate the issue on my own in a default WordPress setup and haven’t seen any other reports of this either. Will you please follow the troubleshooting steps outlined here? Be sure to follow them thoroughly and let me know what conflicts–if any–you find.

Geoff,

Thank you for your prompt assistance. It has to do with the new version of the customizr theme. When switching from 2013 to customizr (all plugins disabled except events calendar) The calendar appeared as it should. As soon as I switch to customizr theme archive page populates.

Thanks for confirming the conflict, Shawn! I had a feeling there was something happening and it seems as though you’ve pinpointed it.

I’m afraid it’s a little tough for me to troubleshoot at this point because it seems to be a theme-specific issue that the theme author would be better suited to handle. I’ll definitely keep this thread open a while in case any questions come up that we can look into further on our end.

Sorry I don’t have have a concrete solution for you here, but I hope this at least helps shed some light on what’s happening!
