Events Calendar not compatible with WPML plugin

I have contacted you several times to fix this issue and so have others. Here is the email I received from WPML as it seems you are not going to cooperate with them? If so please let me know right away as I need a calendar that works with WPML and you are my first choice.

At this time this is not a possible integration.

We have invited the authors several times to work with us to achieve compatibility between The Events Calendar and WPML if they can schedule some time to work with us. We quite understand that they may be busy and must attend to other issues right now, but we do need their cooperation for this.
We recommend that you contact them and explain the situation.

I am glad you took the time to reach out to us. I too have added this topic to our internal tracker regarding WPML compatibility.

I do have some great news on this front. Compatibility is forth coming. This is actually a pretty major change. It requires us to make a lot of changes through our code just so we can be compatible with this one specific plugin. It’s obviously worth it, but it will take sometime. Currently it is on our roadmap for 2015.

In the mean time people have had varying degrees of success getting the two to work together. If you are hitting a specific problem, odds are strong someone else has as well and has posted about it on our forums, only to find a solultion later. A lot of the solutions involve somemanner of compromised, but in the end they get the two plugins running side by side. Just wanted tyo let you know all of your options.

We are excited to report that our upcoming release, The Events Calendar 3.12, includes changes that greatly improve the compatibility between The Events Calendar and WPML. We’ve been working hard on this integration for some time and we want to specifically thank all of our users who requested and waited for this feature. We appreciate all of the support and patience!

Version 3.12 of The Events Calendar will greatly improve compatibility with WPML, but we still have work to do. If you run into any problems integrating the two plugins, please post in our forums so that we can look into the issues. We’ll be on the look out for tweaks and fixes that will improve things further.
