Events Calendar: google maps not displayed with events

I have followed all the steps listed on https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/google-maps-not-showing-up/
yet the google map preview is not displayed in my events. I am using the free version of the Event Calendar WordPress plugin. Here is an example:
