ParticipantHi there. For some reason, my events are no longer displaying. Instead, my archives page (no content at this time) is displaying at /events/. My Events URL slug and Single Event slug are correctly set to /events/ and /event/. There are currently five events which should be displaying.
Any ideas about where my events calendar might have gone?
Many thanks,
Aimee

ParticipantNot sure if this is the same issue but our main event listing page at /events is now showing Website Archives as it’s page title? Any fix for this? Thanks…

ParticipantRobopole, that sounds like exactly what’s happening for me.

ParticipantHey,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Rob, it actually sounds like your situation is a bit different. With our plugin, we take advantage of the archives for generating the views for the plugin. In this case it sounds like there may be titles set conditionally and in that case, if there is a general archive conditional and it is set to “Website Archives”, that will show on your calendar if there isn’t another title set for the Events. To help target the Events pages where those titles are set you can use these helpful conditionals https://gist.github.com/jo-snips/2415009.
Rob, if you have further questions we do ask that you would follow up in a new thread so we’re able to address each user directly.
Aimee,
This definitely sounds like a strange issue. Did it just start happening on an existing site or is this a new site that you’re noticing this on? Additionally, a first thing that I would test would be to navigate to your permalink settings (Settings > Permalinks ) and re-save the current configuration. This will cause the rewrite rules for the site to be flushed which may help in this scenario.
Let me know if this helps.
Thanks!

ParticipantHi, Josh. Thanks for getting back with me.
The site is established, and Events Calendar stopped working. If I’m tracking correctly, it happened 1.5 – 2 weeks ago, after a core update.
I just resaved permalinks, and the page that’s displaying is still a website archives page.
Thanks for your continued support.
And good luck, Robopoole!

ParticipantHey Aimee,
Thanks for following up!
So this happened after an update to our Core Events Calendar plugin or to WordPress core? Out of curiosity, does the issue persist if you switch to a default WordPress theme? Also, along those lines, is this the theme that you’re currently using on your site http://themes.mysitemyway.com/dejavu/?
Thanks!
