Events Calendar defaulting to Previous Month

Hello, we have Events Calender Pro (v4.4.17) running on our website, which is running on WordPress v. 4.8.2 . When someone goes to the calendar page it’s still showing August as the default month, whereas it should be showing September since that’s the month we’re in now. This appears to be a result of a conflict with the (custom) theme since switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme fixes the problem. Any suggestions as to how to try to de-bug what, specifically, in our custom theme is causing the conflict?

I found the solution. The default date was being set by the function function tribe_force_event_date
