    Hi Guys,

I’m about do perform an upgrade to our production multisite install and just wanted to check with you if we are good to go with the following versions list below. I’ve had some challenges and just need to make sure I’m not going to break anything with the following:

    The Events Calendar 4.5.7
    The Events Calendar Pro 4.4.13

    Good to go?

    Thanks,

    Mike

Good evening Mike and welcome back!

Thank you for reaching out to us.
I would love to help you with this topic.

That pairing of versions is perfect.
However, I would still advise making a complete database backup beforehand.

Moreover, it is worth testing the updates at length (preferably in a staging/testing environment) first in case there are any issues with your WordPress theme or another plugin.

One thing I am noticing is that your version of PHP is getting quite old.
You might consider getting at least 5.4+ (in fact WordPress recommends 7+) to avoid any undesired behaviour.

Let me know how that goes.

    Best regards,
    Geoff B.

Thanks much Geoff. Everything looked good on our test instance, I just wanted to make sure. I’ll definitely see if we can bump up the php version up as well as the other suggestions. Thanks again. -Mike
