Events Cal Pro: Community Events – WP admin bar disappears for certain users

Hello,

I’m wondering if there’s a conflict between Events Calendar Pro: Community Events add-on (plugin by Modern Tribe) and the Enfold theme. Here’s what’s happening:

With the ECP Community Events add-on activated, if an author, store manager, contributor or subscriber is logged in, the WP admin bar and dashboard options don’t show. If I deactivate Community Events (with Events Cal Pro still activated) the dashboard will appear again for those users.

The dashboard options appear for an editor or administrator regardless.

I just posted in the Kriesi forum as well – wasn’t sure which of you to contact. Please let me know if there is a fix for the disappearing admin bar. Thanks so much.

Hey,

Thanks for reaching out to us! Under the Event Settings > Community tab we actually have a section entitled “Access Control”. This is where you’re able to remove the admin bar and backend access of your WordPress installation for specific user roles.

You can modify that section to get the behavior that you would like.
