Events Cal Pro and Events Aggregator

HI

I’m just in the process of building our new church website and have The Events Calendar plugin included with the theme we purchased – it’s great, thanks!

Having explored the plugin we’re aware that we want to do a bit more that the plugin allows.

I’ve just checked out The Events Aggregator and think we might use that BUT I need to know whether I need to upgrade from The Events Calendar to The Events Calendar Pro to be able to use the aggregator (and also to be able to have recurring events)?
We’re on a pretty tight budget so I need to make the right buying decision.

Hey Colin,

Thanks for reaching out, and for your interest in our plugins!

The features of Events Calendar Pro and Event Aggregator do not overlap, and are totally separate. So Events Calendar Pro does provide recurring events, but no importer/aggregator functionality; and Event Aggregator provides importer/aggregator functionality, but not recurring events.

If you want both features, both products would unfortunately be required at this time.
