Events by Category widget not using category slug

Hello- on my site, the category links under the “Events by Category” widget is not working. Instead of the slug in the link, the category name is being used. ie, instead of http://www.fpcnyc.org/events/category/concerts-shows the link is fpcny.org/events/category/Concerts & Shows. Therefore, clicking on a category yields a “No event found” error.

Hi there, Cindy! Thanks for reaching out and sorry you’re hitting some trouble here.

May I ask what you are using for the “Events by Category” widget? That doesn’t appear to be one of the widgets included with The Events Calendar or The Events Calendar PRO. Is it possible you are using a third party or custom plugin for it?

Hi Geoff, Thank you so much for your quick response. This is my mistake, for some reason I thought events by category was an Events Calendar Pro widget, but I just realized I added that functionality and fixed it. Sorry for taking up your time!
