Events at multiple venues

We sometimes have 2 performances of the same concert at different venues on adjoining days. (See screenshot of our current website that I’m working on replacing). We’d like to have one page that shows both events and allows people to pick which day. Do I have to enter them as two different events? How would ticketing work? We’d only want them to buy for the event they want to attend.

Our plugins unfortunately do not support multiple venues for one event. 🙁

So when it comes to the things you ask about here, there are unfortunately not many options for this.

The method our plugins would best support is to literally make each event its own separate event, with its own specified date, time, and venue. Then add tickets to these events, and folks can buy tickets for the day they want.

There’s not a way to make something like in the screenshot you posted with our plugins “out of the box”. I’m sorry to disappoint!

I suppose I could create a page that has two buttons on it, like our current event, and have each of those buttons go to an event. When I tried to create a recurring event, it looked pretty much what creating two separate events would look like, only more confusing.

Sounds good George. Recurring events do not have support for tickets yet, so that indeed may end up just being a bit confusing or difficult to work with.
